The FUSION Youth Engagement Program completed Saturday the 14th of August with a massive dinner that had representatives from all three levels of government - Federal Member for Petrie Yvette D'Ath, State Member for Redcliffe Lillian van Litsenburg and Councillors Rae Frawley and James Houghton from Moreton Bay Regional Council in attendance. In addition to the political representation, the dinner was also attended by staff from a number of youth organisations in the region, and young people from all around the Moreton Bay Council area.
The dinner was about young people feeding back opinions and recommendations directly to all levels of government in an informal and inclusive environment.
The Redcliffe Area Youth Space is very pleased to say the event was a fantastic success, and brought to a close two years of intense research. That research will be available below, in September.
The winner of the iPod will be posted online on this page, via our facebook and MySpaces on Monday the 16th of August.
HUGE thanks to everyone who helped make this project possible!
